N°5 White Gold Oil is a shimmering oil that enhances the skin and delights the senses. Its radically simple bottle contains fragments of mother-of-pearl in shades of white gold. Composition

INSPIRATION
On May 5, 1921, Gabrielle Chanel presented the world with “a woman’s perfume that smells like a woman,” a unique burst of aldehydes created by Ernest Beaux. The perfumer-creator offered her a visionary composition that employed aldehydes in an unprecedented way. Mademoiselle chose version number 5 of the fragrance and decided to keep this number as its name. The perfume’s innovative scent, as well as its name and its remarkably simple bottle, revolutionized the history of perfumery.
