The Eau de Toilette is a vibrant echo of the floral bouquet launched by Gabrielle Chanel in 1921. A warm and lively version of the original perfume, presented in a spray bottle with a lacquered black cap.

The powerful opening, dominated by ylang-ylang and neroli, is enhanced by aldehydes. The alchemy of vanilla, vetiver, and sandalwood gives it a vibrant and warm trail.
INSPIRATION
In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel commissioned Ernest Beaux to create “a woman’s perfume that smells like a woman,” something rare and powerful. The perfumer-creator proposed a visionary composition that employed aldehydes in an unprecedented way. Mademoiselle chose version number 5 of the fragrance and decided to keep this number as its name. In 1924, she launched N°5 Eau de Toilette.
