Introducing Reflection 45 Exceptional Extrait – Batch J08291. A rare production of an Amouage icon, left to age for five extra months beyond standard protocol while the Manufacture waited for the bottles to arrive.
If delays occur, the fragrance is chilled-filtered and stored at low temperatures to preserve its profile. This is common practice, giving ingredients a little extra time to settle into place, allowing the composition to become even more harmonious.
With the duration of five extra months of ageing, Reflection 45 became marginally smoother, while the blend gives off a creamier patina, where the butteriness of the orris takes central stage. The ageing also gave the perfume a slightly deeper orange colour, because of the natural ingredients used within.
