Composition
BOIS DES ILES is a sensual and spicy accord of New Caledonian sandalwood, ylang-ylang and tonka bean, which transports you to the still and unknown waters of distant islands.

INSPIRATION
In 1922, the cabaret “Le Bœuf sur le Toit” opened in Paris, immediately becoming the epicenter of high-society nightlife. In its bohemian, smoky atmosphere, people danced the Charleston and the black bottom to the frenetic improvisations of hot jazz. Coco Chanel drew inspiration from this exotic spirit and launched Bois des Îles, an enchanting fragrance that transports you to the still, uncharted waters of distant islands, to languid flowers and opiate-infused vapors.
